Thank you. I am not familiar with this Imap settup. Can this type of settup be changed. You are correct about the slowness issues.

I thought I had set up the Outlook 2010 correctly, but my status line does not indicate the number of messages as it does on my other computer running office 2003. While on the message list, when I do a "read bottom (status) line, jaws says "filter applied, connected, 100%). Any thoughts? Cannot find anything in the view menu to change to get the number of messages in the particular folder.
