I've been using Open Office with Jaws 15 and 16 and have had good success
with it. Unfortunately, I can't recall using it with Jaws 14. I am only a
'casual' user of Open Office so I haven't pushed the product very hard. The
only thing I can suggest is give it a try and see how it behaves. One thing
is certain - you can't beat the price.

I truly hope I am not annoying anyone by having missed answers to my
questions that have been previously submitted.
Gave my granddaughter a nice little laptop for Christmas, and it's now time
for some software. Understanding that open office is safe, is widely used,
and is the software she has requested, I suggested that her father download
it and install it.
I may have to support her use, at least, in some measure. Is there any
experience with open office in the group?
Is there anything I can do specifically to haveJAWS work reasonably
effectively with the software?
I use jaws 12 routinely because it's tied to Jay say, but I have 14
installed here as well.
All help welcome, with both the appreciation of my granddaughter and me.
