Hi Cristóbal,

This can be done in the Settings Center for an individual application or in
the default all applications. Try the following:
1. With the Settings Center open arrow down to, Web / HTML / PDFs, & right
arrow to open.
2. Arrow down to, Miscellaneous, & right arrow to open.
3. Arrow down to, Indicate Element Attribute, & uncheck this option.
Unchecking this will stop Jaws from saying, clickable but, there are times
when you will miss
out on elements of webpages that may be useful and are clickable & will not
be reported with this unchecked.
4. Tab to, apply, press the spacebar, tab to, okay, press the spacebar to
save your change & close the Settings Center.
HTH
Take care.
Mike

Subject: [JAWS-Users] How to get rid of Jaws saying clickable for every
lineof text in Firefox

Hello list,

So, related to my earlier odyssey with the menu bar and Jaws. I deleted all
my user settings and at least for that particular issue, the problem has
gone away. I think I've narrowed it down to the cause being a JCF or JDF
file, but am not sure yet.

Anyway.. Since I deleted everything, I'm trying to get Jaws back to how I
had it more or less. Tedious but not impossible. One particular issue I am
having and was hoping to get some help on here since it was on one these
lists where the solution was provided is with some webpages in Firefox and
Jaws. On certain sites (Lifehacker.com, Gizmodo.com, deadspin.com, etc.)
Jaws is speaking every line of text as clickable. I do remember someone
mentioning that a particular setting having to do with screen text or link
this or that could be changed for this behavior to go away. Naturally, I
can't for the life of me recall what that setting adjustment was.

Can someone help out and refresh my memory on what it was exactly that
needed to be changed to fix this problem?

Thanks,
