Thanks again Mike I had just figured that out and just was going to
write and tell the list but you beat me too it.
Re: [JAWS-Users] desk top properties
Anna,
What Gaston was saying probably does not pertain to a lot of people,
because I do not think most people keep their Users folder on their
desktop, but it
can be accessed through the Users folder in your C: drive. However, If
you want to make changes to the desktop, then this will not help you
anyway. If
you are on the desktop, and you use Control + Shift to deselect
everything, then open the context menu by pressing the applications key,
what you see here
are the properties for the desktop. Here you can make any sort of
changes to the desktop that are available. The last item in the llist,
Personalize, contains
the largest amount of properties that you can change. Please take
another look at this, and if you still do not find the properties that
you are looking
for, then post again with the specific details about what you are
looking for.
Mike

does not work on windows 8.1
do you have any other suggestions
Re: [JAWS-Users] desk top properties
You may try the following.
Do shift + tab, to get to the desktop.
Once on the desktop, locate the User icon.
Enter on the User icon.
Once inside this folder.
The second one should be Desktop.
Press the application key.
Arrow up once, for properties.
Enter on properties.
Hope this works for you.
I'm using Windows 7 home.

the list.
so how would I go about doing it?
I am using windows 8.1 and Jaws 15
