After thinking about your Alternative removal problem, was the program running in the background when you tried removing it? If it was, it did not get removed / uninstalled. Look in your system tray & if there's a Flash.... in there open that & press enter on, exit. Now you should be able to uninstall the program via control panel / programs & features. HTH Take care.
