I am running free versions of both Revo Uninstaller and Alternative Flash
Player. Revo tries to sell you a paid version, but the free one works fine.

Hi Nicole,
I would reinstall it & then use a program called Revo Uninstaller to
uninstall it. This program will take out all the remnants the Windows
uninstaller or the programs uninstaller leaves behind.
Or, you can go into, msconfig, / start tab & uncheck it so it won't try to
run at start-up.

Hi Nicole,
Here it is in a nutshell. The registry is nothing to be scared of, but you
do have to treat it with much respect. It is safe to go there and make
changes if you know just what to look for. But, delete the wrong thing,
and you are looking at a restore or reinstall of Windows. OK.
1. Press Windows + R to open the Run dialogue box.
2. Type in regedit.
3. Press enter, and you will get the User Account Control thing,, so select
OK here.
4. The registry editor will now open, and you will see "Computer" and it
will be either opened or closed. If it is closed, press the right arrow to
open it.
5. Now, arrow down to the first folder that contains software related
registry keys, which is called:
HKEY_Current_User, and again press the right arrow key to open the folder.
6. Now arrow down or press the letter S untill you find Software, and open
this in the same manner as above.
7. Here is where you have to know what you are looking for. The different
softwares are going to be in folders by the manufacturers name, such as
Microsoft or Freedom Scientific for example, so you have to know who makes
the software you are looking for. You said flash player, so is it Adobe or
who?
8. Once you find the folder who's name is the software makers name, open it,
and arr ow down to find anything that you think is related to the software.
Note: if you know for sure that this is the only software that you have
installed by this manufacturer, then you can safely delete the entire
folder.
9. To delete the keys, open the context menu, and arrow up to Delete Key,
and press enter. You will have to confirm that this is what you want to do.
10. After you have all of the related keys deleted, then go to the next
folder down, which is going to be named:
HKEY_local_machine
and repeat the steps above.
I hope this is clear enough and helps you to solve your problem. Once you
have figured out the registry, it opens up a new level of being able to keep
your computer running at its best.
