When I have tried using the Convenient OCR outside of a PDF document, It
always just sends me down to the next line of text in the document that the
graphic is contained in. I was trying to use it in different types of
documents, but nothing would work but the PDF image document.

It certainly worth a try. The results can vary but I would just go for it.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] convenient OCR

  Hi,
This might sound like a dumb question to some but I am going to ask anyway.
Is it possible to use the convenient OCR commands on an email that has a
picture with some words written on it?
Thanks in advance
