I don't know if any one had mentioned this but if you use the jaws key plus the number 8 twice quickly on the num pad it will read any line that you are on, caricter by caricter. You can not read them at your own pace with the right arrow, it just reads them as a string for example
Instead of saying My name is Robert It will read M y n a m e I s R o b e r t HTH -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of TheHangMan Sent: Wednesday, January 21, 2015 9:33 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Character by character reading? Hi List, I am using Windows Live Mail on a Windows 7 computer with Jaws 14. When I bring up my list of email addresses, I can hear them fine enough to pick out the one which I want to use, but in a forwarding situation, I have to be on the message list at the message to be forwarded, so I cannot read the address again. Not only that, I would like to be able to make Jaws read each character as I arrow across them. It would really be awesome, if I could copy it and just paste it in to the address field of the forwarded message! Can anyone help? Thank you very much!
