Back on January 6, I emailed Roger and asked about the status of VIPRE 2015
and if it was okay to continue using 2014 instead of upgrading to 2015. my
concern was if 2014 would still accept AV definitions even though I did not
opt to upgrade to 2015, will the defs still work:

They are still working on the issue, and I have spoken to their support lead
person, and he assures me that they are working on it, they have jaws on
their programming computer to test for accessibility and they will keep me
updated, but in terms of definitions, have no fear, all is well

Subject: [JAWS-Users] vipre anti-virus

I contacted vipre and this is what they said about jaws and vipre 2015

My name is Michael, one of the techs here at ThreatTrack and thank you for
opening a Technical Support ticket.

Unfortunately, as of this moment, VIPRE Internet Security 2015 and VIPRE
Antivirus 2015 is not yet compatible with your screen reader. It has already
been submitted as a feature request and is already on the works but we do
not yet have a specific date on when the version would be released.

Thank you very much.

Best Regards,
