Hi

I doubt it. The description does not mention JAWS, which makes me think
that this is the Dectalk Access32 that used to be marketed by GW Micro for
Window Eyes. I had heard that JAWS would no longer allow the use of that
version as of version 11 or 12. I did see something on the old GW Micro
site that said they had dropped support for it. There also used to be a
version of Dectalk Access32 marketed by Hinter Joyce, now Freedom
Scientific. That version still runs fine on Windows XP for all recent
versions of JAWS, including JAWS 16. But it doesn't work on any later
Windows version, Vista, 7 or 8. When I installed it for JAWS on Windows 7
64 bit and switched to it, all I got was Eloquence. There are a couple of
later products, such as Dectalk USB or a SAPI 5 version, but they're not
Dectalk. They don't sound anything like a Dectalk Express or PC.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Question regarding DecTalk Access32 software with
JAWS16

Hello,
Has anyone tried out the DecTalk Access32 software available from Maxiaids
with JAWS16 on a windows7 64 bit machine? I am considering this synthesizer;
however, I want to know if it works.
Thanks in advance for any responses
