thanks, but even if you have the computer icon, it's much easier to hit the windows key + pause, then switch to the jaws cursor, and arrow down

if you have a computer icon on the desktop,

1, desktop,

2, press c=computer,

3, now bring up the properties,
alt+enter,
or, press applications key up arrow enter on properties,
now, route jaws to pc, insert+minus,
now read the text.
another way is,

from the desktop, press,
windows-key+the pause key,
again route jaws to pc insert+minus, read the text.

Determine the bit count of Windows 7/Vista

1. Click Start, right-click Computer, and then click Properties.

2. Under System, next to System type, the operating system appears as
follows:

64-bit Operating System

32-bit Operating System
