This while a workaround, is not a solution. I and I’m sure many of us Jaws
users do from time to time use the insert F10 command use instead the
alt+tab command as our default keyboard command two switch out of screenns
and applications.
I don't ever recall getting that task switching not available error message,
but I have gotten the other behavior with Jaws and not being able to access
a window/program with alt+tab.

Use Insert+f10 instead.
Arrow down to the application you want to maximize, and press enter.

I sometimes have this problem and sometimes is is accompanied by a message:
"task switching" or "not available".  running Jaws 16  latest version, Win 7
64 bit.  Tom

Hello all. is anyone having this problem? when I alt-tab around the
screen I get one alt-tab from jaws but then it doesn't speak the next
one I've got like 3 applications open and I can only get to two of them.

any suggestions would be appriciated
