Thanks so much for this very helpful info on forms mode options.

I'm definitely going to save this for future reference.

4. Arrow down 1 time, use the spacebar to toggle between automatic & manual.

5. Arrow down 2 times to, Manual Forms Mode Settings, right arrow to open.

6. Arrow down 1 time to, Disable Forms Mode when a New page loads, & check

this box.

7. You can arrow down to Forms Mode Sounds, right arrow to open, & select

sounds for when forms mode opens / closes if you desire.

8. After you're finished making your changes tab to apply, press the

spacebar, tab to okay, press the spacebar to save your changes & close.

Or, you can simply launch your browser then do the following

1. press insert + v (as in victory) to open Jaws Quick Settings

2. Quickly down arrow past search box

3. Press letter F until you find Forms options.

4. Press down arrow once till you find the following option: "autoforms."

These changes will hold when rebooting or whenever you unload and reload

Take care.

I have this problem too with certain web sites.

My question is: How do you exit out of forms mode, and how do you set Jaws
for manual forms mode?

I use Jaws 14 here at home, and Jaws 16 at work, both with 64-bit Windows 7
computers.

I have a problem when visiting www.lowes.com. Jaws likes to go in and out of
forms mode when navigating through the site. In many places, you can't
simply go to a link and hit enter. It will only click the link when Jaws
goes into forms mode. This is particularly annoying when you find something
you want to look at in greater depth. To read the site, you have to
constantly exit out of forms mode. Sometimes when a page loads, it goes in
and out of forms mode quickly (flip-flop). Any ideas on how to fix this?
Tried setting Jaws for manual forms mode only but this did not work. Using
Jaws 16.
