Another way to get to a footnote to edit it is the command of windows key plus the ; key. That brings up a JAWS vertical list box, with choices for comments, footnotes, endnotes, and revisions. You press enter on the one you want, and JAWS brings up a vertical list box with all the footnotes, if any. You can see the text, and above the text, is a link to that footnote. You press enter on the link and it takes you to the footnote. Sometimes JAWS is a bit off from the footnote itself, but it is within a line or two, and using the arrow keys, you get to the footnote text itself where you can edit. You can return to the main document text with the arrow keys. I imagine there are probably other ways to do this, but for me, this windows key plus ; works the best. It is especially handy when wanting to review comments or revisions that are shown in track changes.

You might want to give using F6 a try and see if it moves you to your
document.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Jaws commands for editting footnote?

Hi all, I know I can insert footnote by pressing the key combination
'control alt+f, but don't know how to comeback to original text after
editing footnote? one more, what key strokes should I take if I want to
edit previously inserted footnote?

I am using jaws 16 with MS word 2010.
