I’m not asking on whether I should get this tablet, but rather what kind of 
performance one can expect from it and if the ram is at all upgradable.
I’m not expecting full blown PC performance on a $149.00 device, but for simple 
tasks like reading books, listenning to music/audiobooks, using apps for 
Twitter and Skype, I don't need another full blown computer either.

Please do not consider getting a Windows 8 tablet I think you should try 
Windows 7 professional if you want my opinion
