No not the same, Windows Live Mail is part of Windows Live Essentials, and
is a stand alone email client. An Outlook.com email account can be set up in
WLM however. If you want an outlook.com email address, then you will have to
go to the web site, www.outlook.com, and create yourself a Microsoft
account. Each person can have up to 5 email accounts under the same
Microsoft account I think it is.

I have a question regarding Outlook.com and Windows Live Mail are the same
thing? I remember on this group that someone posted where to go on
Microsoft to get Windows Live Mail which I thought was with Windows
