Hello,
Windows 10 will still have a version of IE as well as the newer browser. Right now the new browser is called Project Spartan.

   Hi Alan,

Yes, it's true, for the first year beginning on the date of the public
release anyone running Windows7 or 8 can update to Windows10 free of charge
but, only in the 1st year of its release.
   Take care.

   Steve,

This is great news if actually true? Where did you hear/find
this information? It is very hard for me to believe that
Microsoft would be giving all those free upgrades away. I
did not get any info on a free upgrade from Win 7 to 8. I do
know the upgrade from 8 to 8.1 was free. Anyway, let me know

   Best,
   Al

You don't need to "hold out" for 10, Windows 10 is a free
upgrade to all Windows 7 and 8 users.

If it's as close as I hear, I might even hold out for 10.
Microsoft, in accordance with its practice of one good
release, one turkey, is due for a good one.

You're in trouble for many reasons first of all you're in
trouble forgetting windows eight second of all you're in
trouble forgetting the computer with one gig of RAM this
will not cut it so I think that you should have gotten an
8P pavilion with windows seven professional
