I use the Media Centre for digital t.v. but have never tried it to play a dvd.
You should be able to access everything that you need from the front menu.
The last time I spoke to Freedomscientific, it was not supported and it is a
bit hit and miss accessability wise.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Questions about JAWS and Windows Media Center

You know, I have never bothered to try Windows Media Center to play DVD’s on my
Windows 7 computer, and thought I might give it a try. Is it accessible with
JAWS? And, are there any tips that might make it easier to use? Any input would
be appreciated. Thanks.
