Not if you use Office 2010 or higher.  I've never seen even a demo copy of 
Window Eyes in years, and don't know how the Office-related version compares to 
the retail, but the price on both major screen readers is pretty similar, if 
not identical.

They told me at FS, I believe $420 or maybe $480, and I could get some kind of 
discount on the next three updates if I paid up front. I believe that is right. 
Window-Eyes 9.1 is $895.
