Hi Kimsan,

Do you have the shutdown shortcut located anywhere else other than the
Taskbar? If so, access the properties of that shortcut icon & remove the
shortcut keystroke. Otherwise you may have to unpin the shutdown shortcut
from the Taskbar, get the shortcut again & place it on the desktop or start
menu, access the properties, remove the shortcut keystroke, then repin it to
the Taskbar. HTH
Take care.
Mike

Subject: [JAWS-Users] locating shortcut keystroke

Hello:

I Have this shutdown shortcut where I got from jaws-users.com, I think, I
applied the CTRL shift s for the hot key. I placed that shortcut on the
taskbar, so I can press windows key 9 to quickly shutdown my comp.

However, I was trying to create another hotkey to launch a website, I was
pressing random keystrokes to see if this would work or is used already.
Come to find out, CTRL shift s is my shutdown hotkey, so I accidentally
shut my comp down hahaa. Since I'm already using windows key 9, where do I
locate the keystroke I created to remove it? It's on the taskbar, so when I
access the properties, it's the taskbar properties and not the properties
for what I am looking for, which is this shutdown shortcut.

Thanks.
