Hi, You could use Jaws key plus F4 to unload Jaws or may be see if just suspending Jaws with Jaws key plus Spacebar and then S. You can bring Jaws back by the same command.

Yes, I can do that but I thought that there was a short cut key stroke to
turn off jaws. I guess I might just have to do that though.

Hello,
Why not turn Shaws off first and then launch narrator?

Best,
Alan

Yes, I use this often but it doesn't work for me while trying to use
narrator. Maybe I have a problem. I'll try and check it out again.

Insert plus Control and s. It's a toggle. Hit the combo again when
you want JAWS to fire up again.

I am using W7, outlook 2010 and latest jaws. When turning on
narrator, how do you turn off jaws so as not to get both talking at
the same time. I have tried using insert, spacebar plus letter "S"
but this does not stop jaws from talking. I should know this but I
just can't remember how to do it. I couldn't find anything on the
jaws-users home site.

Thanks much,
