It'll be free from 7 as well, Carolyn.  I haven't done an OS upgrade since DOS 
7, but this one may tempt me.  Only trouble is I could do a DOS update with no 
help; I'll bet the farm it won't be that way with Windows 10.

This morning, my husband said that 10 was offered as free down load on 8.1. 
I don't think he is going to hurry for it, but I kind of hope he gets it, since
