You can create a hot key for a document by highlighting the document name, Press your application key and go to, create shortcut and press enter. This will put you on the shortcut for that file so now do an alt enter for the properties and tab to where it says, hotkey. You can use just about any combination of alt plus control character or number. You can also use control plus shift characters and numbers.
