True, you need to boot into safe mode.  But, Window-Eyes and NVDA can work in 
safe mode.

when using a windows repair disc you must boot in safe mode.  in safe mode 
no screen reader can work so safe mode is inaccessible to blind/visually 
impaired users.

What are the steps to use a windows 7 repair disk.
I tried to follow the windows help directions with no success.
I can not get the drive to start up with the disk in it.
any help would be appreciated, first time I done this...
