Al,

There is a Microsoft Office here in the DC area and we as Federal Employees
interface with them frequently. I mentioned this to them in one of the
blogs we use and I was advised to just use "C" instead of the manner in
which we are accustomed. It works for me. Try it.

I am using Office 2010 on a Win 7 64 bit machine. When in spell check and I
hit insert C, JAWS says nothing. If I turn keyboard help on the command is
listed and speaks its function.

I am using Office 2010 and Jaws 16 on Win 7 64-bit, Insert-C does work in
Outlook to go to the phrase to be modified.

Dave,

Ok, no problem. I'm using Office 2010 and insert c does not work in Word or
Outlook

Alan,

Well, I spoke out of school with regard MS-Word. I just gave it a try there.

On my system I have MS-Word 2007 and the Insert+C key combination indeed
announces the phrase with the misspelled word. I'm using latest JAWS 16 on a
32-bit Windows 7 machine.

In my defense, I rarely use MS-Word, and do most of my spell-checking in
Outlook Express mail. There I use OESpell add-on, and that indeed does not
work with Insert+C, and perhaps has never done so.

Sorry for the initial confusion.

Dave,
Wow, not sense jaws 11? I guess I will not get too excited about discovering
this then. I am surprised with it not working that long that Freedom
scientific has kept that keystroke in the menu that pops up when you do the
insert plus H

 Best,
Alan
