Al, There is a Microsoft Office here in the DC area and we as Federal Employees interface with them frequently. I mentioned this to them in one of the blogs we use and I was advised to just use "C" instead of the manner in which we are accustomed. It works for me. Try it.

I just gave it a try there. On my system I have MS-Word 2007 and the Insert+C key combination indeed announces the phrase with the misspelled word. I'm using latest JAWS 16 on a 32-bit Windows 7 machine. In my defense, I rarely use MS-Word, and do most of my spell-checking in Outlook Express mail. There I use OESpell add-on, and that indeed does not work with Insert+C, and perhaps has never done so. Sorry for the initial confusion.
