I open up Word 2010 and type a sentence then open the spell checker. I tried
using c but all that does is put the letter c in the word. Using alt+C has
JAWs read the sentence in the spell checker. Is this how it is supposed to
work?
I don't see how just using C will work as it will just type in the letter C.

Wow!

So it's no longer "alt C" and just simply "c" now?

That just worked for me here in 2013.

Microsoft says to just use "C" now. Try that.

I just tried this and on my windows 7 word 2010 system it doesn't work. I
got out of spell check and went back to the word the long way. A pain in
the neck.

Hi Ed,

According to Jaws Help, Insert + C reads the highlighted word & the text
that surrounds it.
Take care.

Hi Group,

I came into this messages on the insert + C key. What exactly is this hot
