Hi Nicole, Speak Dropbox does not update with Dropbox. If you want to check for an update open Speak Dropbox from the system tray. Arrow up to, Speak Dropbox version 13 activate to check for update. If it doesn't say Speak Dropbox 13, press enter & it will update. HTH
