When wanting to use the Control+Delete command, do you need to have the
messages arranged in a particular way? While most of my folders are
arranged by date; just a handful are arranged by subject line. Will the
Control+Delete command work in these folders without making changes? Will
the command work in the Unread view where messages are arranged by date
within their respective folders?

Thanks,
Annette

Also, if you're an Outlook user, control+delete will or at least should
delete the entire thread. Inconsistent at times though.

There are almost 700 people on this list so there is no way in creation I
can possibly keep everybody happy. Granted some threads do drone on a bit
longer than I would even care to follow but I do that never the less to make
sure things stay on topic.

There have been times in the past where we have stopped threads from being a
never ending story, and this particular issue would have probably fell in
that category soon as well.

So now that it has been made an issue let's move on to the next major
disaster and let this fade into the past.

This is coming from a man who has a lot going on in his life besides
managing a mailing list. Most days I monitor things to make sure it is on
topic and everybody is getting along. Beyond that at times that's all I can
offer. Certainly this past week is a prime example, never the less everybody
move on to the next problem and let me get back to the New York Rangers
game.

I think the list is getting from what it is suppose to be. For the last
week, all people are talking about is how wonderful it is to have Google on
the desktop. I press alt + CTRL + I for IE and M for fs. I have Google set
as my default search, so there I am in the edit box.
One day is fine to talk about these things but a week? Also, I just can't
hold back anymore from reading about this Insert C in word. It hasn't work
since word 2007, and that ends that subject. Seeing spripts in a message,
that is knowing something. What finally got me to send this message, is
because of the person that asked how to get to the address bar in IE. That
is like getting on this list and asking what is 2 + 2. This is not the
purpose of this list. If you take a minute to look through help materials
questions can get answered. I love this list; I have learned so much
concerning security that best works with JAWS, Working with audio and video,
and best of all, I never knew that you could convert Youtube videos into
Mp3. I am really taking advantage of that, and that is what usually what is
on this list. It's just for the last few days, people are talking about
very elementary stuff day after day. I love you guys, but could we talk
about more than putting Google on the desktop and this Insert C? Love in
Christ, David Moore from Columbus, Ohio
