Hi. Tom, I just spoke with Freedom Scientific Tech Support. Here is the solution which totally fixed my problem and should do the same for you. Go to Programs in the Control Panel and if it's not there, then tab until you come to Programs and Features, I think it is called. Arrow down through that and I had the Google tool bar installed which is a no-no. Enter on that and uninstall it with one click. Then, after waiting a minute or two, go to use the Google Search and you may find that the problem has been resolved. I was mildly surprised but the change was tremendously welcomed.
