Competition inspires progress. Also all of us are mere mortals and have no ability to read the future. I pray the day comes when there are no more diseases of the retina or cornea that cause visual impairment and there is no need for adaptive equipment for the visually impaired. Anticipating the progress of certain software in more than eighty years is as useless as someone telling me who will be the President in the same amount of time. Our moderator was right. Put the brakes on this prophecy.
