Mike,

I know I locked it as I did that twice in one second thing
Flor was discussing last week just to see how it worked.
What I have learned after numerous attempts is you can hold
the Ctrl and Insert key and only do the num pad minus key
twice within one second and this is doable. Doing all three
is almost impossible. Learning this, I can now lock in
either mode easily. Thanks so much for the help. It is now
where jaws says (jaws cursor will not follow PC cursor and
jaws will remember this setting until I change it."

Best,
Al

Hi Al,

Somehow you have locked, or something to this affect, the
Jaws cursor into following the PC cursor. Do the, Control,
Insert, + Numpad minus, keystroke twice quickly in less than
1 second. It's kind of tricky so, it might take you a few
attempts. You want to hear Jaws report, the Jaws cursor
will not follow the PC cursor. To hear a better explanation
turn Jaws keyboard help on & do the keystroke twice quickly.
HTH Take care.
Mike

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Tethering Jaws to PC cursor

Last week there was a good discussion on this topic. I
tested the various settings and configurations suggested.
Now, somehow I have the default set to have the JAWS cursor
follow the PC cursor. I have to remember to undo this each
time I turn the computer on or the alt tab does not work
properly cycling through all my currently open programs. How
do I get this setting back to a default of "the JAWS cursor
will not follow the PC cursor."

Thanks,

Al
