I have a first cousin to that device, and I remember spending some time setting
up defaults. If I'm not mistaken, that all-in-one preceded the release of 7.
I bought mine in 2009.

Have you ever tried the HP Print and scan doctor? I have used it a few times
and it has solved some problems. I don't have a link for it but I am sure you
can get it from the HP printer trouble shooting Web site. I have read that
some people thought it caused more problems than it solved but I have not found
that to be true in my case. Tom

This is becoming a major problem
I am using win 7 32 bit and an hp 6520 printer. It does not keep the printer
settings. I once printed a photo. Now more often than not it wants to print my
document or email to the photo tray. I just started a fairly long print and
walked away the entire document was printed on quite a few photo papers.
I can select plane paper main tray and letter. then ok and apply or apply then
ok it does not matter. It will print where I want. The next time it prints on
photo paper. any suggestions?
