I have tried and failed to navigate the audio description part of Netflix.
The problem is a strange one, and easily fixable by Netflix. When you go to
Netflix and have your profile on the screen, near the bottom of that page is
a link to "audio description". Clicking on that link gives you a page that
has all the audio described content. However, there is no accessible way to
tell it to play the audio described version; they have a separate set of
buttons that my sighted daughter can navigate, but not me. Netflix simply
should change the default so when somebody navigates to the audio
description content page, clicking on the "Y player" brings up the intended
audio described version.

description using the app on your phone, then when you watch content
on your laptop the audio description will be on already and you won't
need to mess with it.
There were some pretty good instructions posted a few months ago on
one of the jaws lists. I can't recall if it was this list or another,
but I have them saved on my other computer and will send them
privately, if you'd like.
