Either Alt or right mouse click opens the menus of VLC. I have the new version,
and my only problem so far is finding the promised resume feature.

Also, be careful not to over generalize about DVD's on Media Player. I don't
know what error message you get, but, apparently, the driver set in that
program is not all it could be; some disks will not budge, others play like a
charm, and give you access to WMP's full-featured menus and shortcut keys. It
startled me the first time I put a disk in and got an error; I thought I'd done
something stupid to damage the program. I should say that I run under Windows
7, but it is probably the same WMP, as I understand Ms has abandoned the
program.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] What player in /w8.1 works with jaws?

Apparently windows media player in W8.1 will not play DVDs. I know I can use
VLC, but how do you use the controls when using VLC player? And, is there
something else I can do, that works with jaws better than VLC does? Jim
