That's just bizaare Tom. I know for a fact, both Mr. Farren and myself discussed this thread when he gave steps to locate one's microphone cause I myself tried his steps, and found mine. He then went on to give further steps on the property of the microphone and although he didn't go into details, he was most generous in stating he felt the task could be accompolished by just poking around on the various options. Maybe you didn't read his reply? He said this.. go to start menu, type in: manage audible device and enter. then do a control-tab to the "recording" page is where I found my microphone.
