If it works with 13, you'd think it would work with 16. I happened to go to 
the System Tray last night, got into it and read that it ran its daily run 
yesterday. Now, my son installed my first one, and my husband got rid of 
Microsoft Essentials on this computer and got it back for me, since it has 
served me so well for about eight years. I have even changed the time of my 
daily setting. I just couldn't promise that you could manage it totally 
independently, since I haven't. It would seem that it might be worth the 
download; you always could get rid of it. So, maybe this is no help at all. 
If you want to tell me something to do, I can try it and let you know if 
that worked.
