I surrender. I even went into the registry to try and get rid of some of the hijackers on the computer. The only way is to wipe it clean and reinstall windows. I do not have disk for this. It is an older refurbished gateway computer. She paid less than $250 for it a year or so ago. Not worth putting any money into it. I have invested over 15 hours trying to clean it and now waving the white flag. Thanks for all of the suggestions.
