Hello David,
Sorry, I am getting to this mail super late.
My inbox over grew and there was a lot of notes to save & learn.
I have a problem, I need to learn how to select which music media player,
I want to use, either WMP or iTunes?
iTunes right now is the player my PC is locked on.
ITunes always wants to be the primary media player and I have no idea on how
to switch it back to WMP?
I appreciate your help,
I been out of commission, the reason was when I move to Philadelphia 6
months ago,
The Philadelphia VA did not follow the orders in how to handle the wound on
my ankle and heel and it got infected by their neglect to do the job right.
So, my right leg got cut off 6 inches below my knee in Feb of this year.
In july I should be walking again, my prosthetic leg is in, just doing final
adjustments on the socket.
The socket is what attaches to the stump.
Believe me jaws users has been keeping me busy and going.
Thank you,
Jorge

Hello;
Okay,
Here's the steps I take to rip a cd, or, to rip just 1, or, 3 or, whatever
your wanting to do.
1, place cd into drive close drawer,
Music should start to play, if windows media is your default player.
2, ctrl+s=stop,
3, ctrl+1=library,
Now I up arrow until I hear;
Playlist opened,
4, I now tab until I hear;
The name of the cd, and the tracks,
So, I make sure that all the track are not selected, Now, I arrow and check
the track or tracks I wish to rip, Note if you want to rip the whole CD, do
nothing, Go to next step
5, I now press ctrl+3, and tab and enter on the rip button.
Hope this helps.

Jorge,
What exactly do you need to know about ripping with WMP? Tab down until you
are focused on the name of the albumn that you have in your CD/DVD drive,
then open the context menu and select rip to Music Library. You can then tab
down and uncheck any songs that you do not want to rip. The ripping process
will start automatically, and should finish within 5 to 10 minutes. To check
if it is finished, open the context menu again, and instead of saying Rip to
Library, it will say Eject in the same place. The music will have been saved
to a folder in the Music or My Music folder. Its pretty simple to do.
Now, the music in your WMP library, is going to be in your windows Music
library, since that is where the program gets it from. It can either detect
it automatically and copy it there, or you can add it manually, but
depending on what version of windows you are using, you can find the music
in Windows Explorer or in the Music folder inside of This PC in Windows 8 or
8.1.
A very good program to rip CD's which is free for home use, is Express Rip
from NCH Software. www.nchsoftware.com/. It is very accessible with JAWS,
and if the newest version is not, I would be glad to provide you with a copy
of my installation file of an accessible version. For burning, I use another
free program called CD Burner XP. It is a good burning program, and can burn
CD's DVD's and Data disks. I am sure that you can do more with it, but I
just use it to burn disks. If you download this, let me know, and I will
walk you through the process, as there are 2 different windows open at the
same time during the burning process.
Should you have any further questions about any of this, feel free to
contact me about it. Hope it helps.
Later,
Mike

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Ripping a CD With WMP
Hi,
I would like to rip a couple CD's using WMP into my PC, I need some help
with that task.
Also, I would like to be able to access the WMP library and copy the music
and then paste it into my music folder.
I can do this with iTunes, itunes will automatically perform that task, but
this PC is itunes Free.
Also, can someone recommend a jaws accessible program that rips & burns with
good qualityy?
Thanks in advance,
Jorge
