Petras, Mike has the right set of instructions here. The only problem with his plan is that Jaws will not start at all when you turn on the computer. You won't know if everything is up and running or not. There is a way to do this but it's involved with setting up a different User profile, one which doesn't include Jaws starting automatically. Arranging User profiles is difficult but not impossible. If you'd like to attempt that, please let me know and I'll research the procedure for you.
What will happen though, at least in Windows 7, is that you will be presented with a page where you have to choose which User to open. That is a silent display in some cases, depending on how your Jaws was set up originally. If, for example, Jaws was set in the Basics menu to "Log On At Startup", then you would hear the User page. Petra, wouldn't it be better just to show your friend how to turn off Jaws? That's a simpler and more direct process.
