Lenny,

I tend to use the thumb drives more for transferring data from one computer 
or person to another. When I store offloaded data I use a larger USB hard 
drive in the 1 terabyte range. I do this simply because it's not so easy to 
misplace a larger solid state hard drive than a small pack of chewing gum. I 
shudder to think of my misery if I had a lot of valuable data that 
accidentally fell into the waste basket.
