There will be an instruction for reconnecting calendaring when you delete. You have a choice to disable, too - I chose delete the message rather than to disable the function.

Anna, did you successfully disable the lightning calendaring function
and its notice?  At the conclusion of the message there were several
options.   Among them close, disable and keep.  After JAWS has read the
entire message, shift backspace to close, then to disable.  Press the
space bar to disable the function.  You'll hear a command to
restart..your cursor should be on the button.  If not,tab to it and
press the space bar.  Zappo, it's gone.  You can undo at any time if you
want the "lightning" function.
