Do you see in notification message get window 10? If so, go there and sign. Also it will check your system to see if your PC will work with it.

fs says to keep using IE as your default browser
because edge is not very accessible with screen readers, I know
that much!

Kevin here is the note about the upgrade on installing windows 10
that was
in the message you said you deleted:
"...Because you've reserved, Windows will automatically take care
of the
download in advance. Then you'll get a notification when your
upgrade is
ready to install. That way you can start using Windows 10
immediately - or
schedule a time to install that's convenient for you. If you
have any more
questions, check out the upgrade FAQ.
Read the FAQ..."

This is a large download and there are a lot of us who will be
getting this
download. So I suspect that MS cannot get it all done today.
The way I
understand it, since I asked to be advised when the windows 10
download is
on my computer and it is ready to be installed, I will be given
notification
from MS.
That said, I plan to wait on doing the install on this computer.
I did
however order a new laptop last night that will come with windows
10
installed on it and I will use that as my computer to learn
Windows 10 and
keep using windows 7 on this computer I am using.
From what I have read, Windows 10 should be a good product and
the new
laptop I purchased is to replace an old 7 year old laptop running
windows
vista. So I will be glad to have both computers running the same
operating
system and office suite.
I sure hope the replacement for IE 11 will prove to be good. I
am so tired
of having IE 11 crash or not even work on some web sites. So
glad I do have
the Mozilla option for now that many on this list encouraged me
to download
and install.
Peaceful evening.
John

What's in the "Get Windows 10" app?

today is July 29
I checked in my windows updates and I do not see an upgrade to
windows 10 I
did reserve the free upgrade but after reserving on microsoft.com
I deleted
the notification from my computer.
so where is it does anyone know
not that I was going to upgrade today, I just wanted to see if
the option to
upgrade is there!
