that might help but in prior jaws versions you could do the regular context menu key and it work like it should always with out having to tab to the link and doing the context menu key to get the desired results.

Hi Sunshine,

If you tab to a link & open the context menu you get a different list of
options than when you arrow to a link & open the context menu. Tabbing to
the link instead of arrowing to the link will give you the options you are
wanting. Or, press, Shift + Enter, to open instead of enter. In Internet
Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome, that command opens the link you follow in a
new window. Once you have finished looking at the page, close the window
with alt f4 and you will return to the previous window and be exactly where
you left off in the
search results.

Take care.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Problem with jaws and context menu key.

In Fire Fox, Google Crome, Internet Explorer When wanting to open a link in
a new tab when using the context menu key to enter on open in new tab Jaws
will say back forward and the like unstead of giving open open in new
window open in new tab ect....
When tabbing and then using the context menu key the correct results for the
items works What is Freedom going to do to fix this problem?
This is really annoying and is very counter productive.
this happens no matter what version of jaws from what i can tell before jaws
never did this kind of behavior. Jaws used to be able to be used with the
context menu key the correct way, wonder why freedom scientific messed this
one up?
