Anna, you're doing nothing wrong. I don't use W8.1, so maybe
uninstalling updates, in your case, an optional one is handled a bit
differently than what I laid out <scratching forhead>? hopefully,
someone who uses 8.1 will give the answer.

Okay I found the link for installed updates and entered on it and a list
of updates came up but they were just the important updates not the
ooptional
updates that I am looking for that I down loaded this morning
so what am I doing wrong?
