It is not a recommended pratice. If, for some reason, you lost power during
the update, it could possible do some damage to Windows or your computer.
This would only cause you more problems to have to deal with. So, please,
just plug the computer in before you perform the update.

laptop in some
where that you do not have to walk, and just remember where the
cord is. Get
what you think you will need during the installation, and try not
to get up.

Hi, Can I install windows 10 without being plugged into a power
source. I have 74 percent. Will it still let me? Because if I
do need it plugged in, I could accedently trip over the eord
while walking. I am using jaws 16 windows 7.
