The problem is that the mute box became checked. I have had that happen in
the past, where some mysterious force checked the box. One time it happened
when I was using an external multi media keyboard, which had an extra row of
keys along the right side. The one just to the right of the enter key was
the mute key. I hit the mute key by accident. The solution, once I came to
that realization, was to get that same keyboard and press the mute key to
bring the sound back.
In any case, you will need to go into the control panel, to the place where
the sound options are kept, where the volume controls are. One of those
will be a mute box that kills the sound. Since you have no sound, you will
need sighted assistance to bring your sound back.

Hi, I somehow muted the speakers by accedent. Now I cannot hear
jaws at all nor the system sounds. It's not the speach, but the
actual speakers. How would I unmute it so I can hear it?
