Anna, I'm not using 8.1 but if I check for updates, and after a while,
open up either updates category (important or optional updates), and if
I tab once, there is a link for more information link for that update,
activating that link should open a Microsoft page. see if it has the
info you're looking for.

The reason I am asking is because every time I go to check for updates
it seems to turn up and I already have installed two of them successfully.
I am running windows 8.1, Jaws 15 on a 64 bit machine
