Aren't there shutdown exicutables on the jaws-users site?
For me, I press the start menu, tab to the power button option, press
spacebar, a context menu pops up and I arrow to shut down.
I do that after I remembered I have a shortcut to shutdown on the taskbar
and I just needed to press windows key 8 lol...

Another way of shutting down is to open the start menu by pressing the
Windows logo key, as always, then right arrow to the right column, then
arrow up to the Power button, and press the space bar, and the options to
shutdown, restart, etc will be displayed.

what you do is select the desktop
with ctrl+m until you hear desktop then one of your icons unselected
then just press alt+F 4 and you will get the shut down options
windows 10 doesn't have a shut down sound so when your screen is blank it's
powered off I believe.

Hieahow do I force a full shut down on my laptop, simply hitting altogether
fbled will just close what I'm doing, but not bringing the shut down dialog.
When I hit the power button in the start menu, it will just put it into
sleep. How do I force my laptop to shut down what I'm doing? I dont want
rforce it by holding the power button for 10 seconds, because it would force
the update to stop to. I'm using windows 10. My windows 7 and earlier
never had this problem.
