Make sure column browser is turned on by control-shift-b.
press control+j.
shift+tab, until you here list, make sure it says song, press enter.
Alt+v, view settings.
go to column browser submenu, press right arrow.
down arrow to genres make sure it is not checked, if checked press enter to uncheck.
ALT+v, go back to column browser, press right arrow.
Down arrow, make sure the following are checked.
Artists, Albums, group compilations,and use album artists.
these should be the only checked items under Colum browser.
If these are set correctly, when you open iTunes, you will here artist list preceded by the number of artist you have in iTunes. Arrow down to the artist you want, tab to the album list, down arrow to the album you want, tab one time to the song list.
Press enter to play, spacebar to stop.
