I have the same programs, and so far have not experienced that. My biggest
problem in Outlook is being able to keep Sender's address and read an e-mail
address, which I used to be able to do by using the Applications key and
going into Properties.

How long have you have them? I've had mine for only a week, in fact, a week
today. Actually, JAWS was loaded late last Saturday afternoon. My husband
was savvy enough to hold off on JAWS to the very last so that it would be
least effected by loading of things. We did transfer my e-mails the next
day, but otherwise, JAWS was last.

He said that he had a time of it getting 13 off the old computer, which he
stripped to just about bare bones to use as an extra "back up" for himself.
He has thousands and thousands of picture files.

Best from,

Carolyn

Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] using outlook 2013 with JAWS 16

Hi guys
I am Marisane.
I am using jaws16 with office 2013. I am facing a challenge.

I can't read what I've typed as immediately as I used to do with office
2010.

This happens more often in outlook.

I have to shift-tab and tab back into the message edit box to be able to
hear jaws16 reading what I've typed.

Is this a bug with jaws16 or what is happening?

Even though I say it is happening in outlook, it sometimes happens in word.

It is bothering me.

What do I have to configure to stop this delay of reading the typed text?

It is as if arrows or the cursor can't see the written words or phrase I
have typed.

Please help.

Regards
Marisane
